For eBay sellers

Stop Managing Your eBay Business in Spreadsheets.

Connect your eBay business to Profitio and bring orders, inventory, costs, fees and profitability into one clear platform.

Built for growing sellers who need more than basic sales reports. Create an account, then authorise eBay — Profitio never asks for your eBay password.

Your eBay Business Shouldn't Depend on a Spreadsheet.

Orders in one export, fees in another, product cost in a tab you maintain by hand, returns somewhere else again — and a month-end formula that only you know how to fix.

With Profitio

  • eBay → Profitio
  • Orders, fees, refunds and payouts arrive on their own
  • You add product cost and shipping once, per product

The numbers eBay knows come across by themselves. The numbers only you know — what you paid for the item, what the box cost to send — you enter, and then they are part of every report.

Spreadsheets are great for getting started. They are flexible, familiar and free. Profitio earns its place later — when the manual work starts taking an evening a week and one broken formula quietly changes a quarter.

See More Than Revenue. Understand Profit.

Revenue is the easy number. Profit is the one that decides whether a product is worth restocking — and it needs costs from two places.

What arrives on its own

Orders, eBay selling fees, Promoted Listings fees, refunds, transactions and payouts are read from your eBay account through the official API after you authorise the connection.

What you tell Profitio once

eBay does not know what you paid for an item or what it cost you to ship it, so neither does any tool reading eBay. Enter product cost and shipping against a product once and every order, report and margin uses it from then on.

Know What's Actually Making Money.

The same figures, cut the way the question is asked.

By order

Open any order and see what it brought in, what eBay took, and what was left.

By product or SKU

Find the products carrying the business and the ones quietly costing you money.

By period

Compare a month against the one before it, or a quarter against last year.

By storefront

Run several eBay accounts and keep their numbers apart — or see them together.

Know What Has Been Sitting.

Profitio groups your live listings by how long each has been listed without selling, so slow stock is a number rather than a feeling.

180+

days listed

This measures time on eBay since the listing started, which is the date eBay gives us. Relisting an item starts a new listing, so the count starts again — useful for spotting what is not moving, and not the same as how long the item has been in your building.

Understand Where Your Money Went.

eBay pays out a net figure. Profitio keeps the pieces behind it so the deposit in your bank can be traced back to the orders and fees that produced it.

Payouts

Each payout eBay sends, with its date, amount and status.

The transactions behind it

Sales, fees, refunds and adjustments, kept as separate lines rather than rolled into one total.

Where it is available

Payout reconciliation depends on what your eBay account and marketplace make available. Where it is there, your payouts are matched to the orders that produced them; where it is not, Profitio marks which figures eBay has confirmed, so you always know what is a fact.

See Returns in the Bigger Picture.

A return is not only a refund — it is a sale that stopped being profit after you had already paid the fees.

Returns and cases

Open and closed cases from your eBay account, with reason and status, and the response deadline eBay gives you.

Refunds against profit

Refunded amounts are deducted where profit is calculated, so a strong month with heavy returns does not read as a strong month.

Month against month

Compare periods to see whether returns are drifting up, and which products they cluster around.

From Individual Orders to the Big Picture.

Most days you want one number. At quarter end you want all of them.

From Data to Decisions.

Once the numbers are in one place, the useful part is being told when something changed. These are the kinds of things Profitio surfaces — each one computed from your own connected data, not generated prose.

“Your margin fell 6.2% this month while revenue rose — fees and promoted listings grew faster than sales.”

“12 SKUs account for 41% of your profit.”

“Advertising cost on these products grew faster than the sales attributed to them.”

“A return case is past eBay's response deadline — letting it time out affects your seller level.”

How It Works

Create your Profitio account

A few minutes. No card needed to look around.

Authorise eBay

You are sent to eBay to approve the connection and returned to Profitio. Profitio never sees or stores your eBay password, and you can revoke the connection from either side at any time.

Profitio imports your business

Listings, orders, fees, refunds and the financial data your account exposes. Large catalogues import in the background.

Add your costs, then read your business

Enter product cost and shipping where you want true profit, and the reports fill in from there.

Built for Sellers Who Are Growing.

Growing eBay sellers

More orders and more SKUs make a manual sheet harder to keep honest.

Multi-SKU businesses

Product-level profit and inventory, not one blended number for everything.

Teams

One source of truth, with roles and permissions, instead of a file passed around.

Multi-channel sellers

Profitio is a business platform first. eBay sits alongside the other channels and the rest of your operations — purchasing, warehouse, finance, CRM.

Spreadsheets Are Great for Getting Started.

Profitio is built for what comes next. Nothing here says a spreadsheet is wrong — it says where the manual work goes.

Manual data entry by hand
Profit per order and per product by hand
Inventory visibility by hand
Historical reports without rebuilding them by hand

Questions sellers ask

What does Profitio import from eBay?

Your listings and products, orders and their line items, eBay selling fees, Promoted Listings fees, returns and refunds, and — where your account exposes them — transactions and payouts. It does not import what eBay does not hold, such as what you paid for the item.

Can Profitio calculate profit for eBay orders?

Yes. Revenue, eBay fees, advertising fees and refunds come from eBay. Product cost and shipping are yours to enter — once per product, not per order. Until you enter them, Profitio shows profit after the costs it knows and does not pretend the rest are zero.

Does Profitio replace my spreadsheet?

For order, fee, refund and profit tracking, that is the intent — those numbers arrive and update themselves. Keep your spreadsheet for whatever is genuinely bespoke; most sellers stop maintaining the parts that were only ever copying data across.

Can I track inventory with Profitio?

Yes — stock by product and warehouse, with purchasing, receiving and movements. For eBay listings you also see how long each has been listed without selling, which is where slow stock shows up first.

Can I track eBay fees and refunds?

Yes. Selling fees and Promoted Listings fees are read per order, and refunds are deducted where profit is calculated rather than being reported separately.

Does Profitio support multiple sales channels?

Yes. Profitio is a business operating platform, not an eBay tool — eBay is one integration among others, and the finance, inventory, purchasing and CRM sides work whether you sell on one channel or several.

How often does Profitio sync with eBay?

Automatically and continuously in the background — orders and listings through the day, financial data on its own schedule. You can also trigger a sync yourself. eBay enforces daily API limits, so very large catalogues are paced rather than pulled all at once.

Is my eBay account secure?

You approve the connection on eBay's own site. Profitio receives only the permissions you granted there, and never sees or stores your eBay password.

Does Profitio change anything in my eBay account?

Not on its own. Reading your data changes nothing. Profitio can also make changes — revising a price, ending or relisting an item, sending an offer — but only for features you switch on, and those are off until you turn them on.

Can I disconnect eBay?

Yes, at any time, from Profitio or from your eBay account settings. Syncing stops immediately. Your imported history stays in Profitio so your past reports still work, and you can delete it if you would rather it did not.
